At Gospel Light Baptist Church we desire to help folk to come to know Christ as their savior and to live and abundant life free from anxiety and to help folk rise above the problems of life.

About Our Pastor
Sims Anderson
Pastor @ Gospel Light Baptist Church
Pastor and Mrs. Anderson were born and raised in East Texas. They have been married for over 20 years and have been serving the Lord together for 15 of those years. In 2013, God led the Anderson family to come to Forney and start a church. Their desire from the beginning has been to help people experience changed lives through Christ.
Pastor and Mrs. Anderson have both faced great struggles in their past, but through God’s grace, they have overcome these challenges. They have first-hand knowledge of the damage sin causes in one’s life and the hope and restoration God’s Word can bring.
Grounded in and knowledgeable of the Word of God, Pastor and Mrs. Anderson desire to help people apply the Word of God to find Biblical answers to life’s most serious questions and discover hope in a troubled world.
